Understanding food sensitivities is crucial for maintaining a balanced diet and overall health. This blog post highlights five common foods that people are often sensitive to, practical tips on healthier alternatives to include in your diet, and common symptoms of food sensitivities to look out for.




1. Gluten

What is Gluten?

Gluten is a protein found in wheat, barley, and rye.


Why It Causes Sensitivity:

Gluten can cause sensitivities as it's difficult for some people to digest. In individuals with celiac disease or gluten sensitivity, gluten proteins trigger an immune response that damages the lining of the small intestine.

2. Dairy

Casein and Whey in Dairy:

Dairy products contain proteins like casein and whey.
