Kathryn King is a Naturopathic Doctor primarily based in Lloydminster Alberta, Canada. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver and then attended the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto. Kathryn’s science background, combined with her experience in Vipassana Meditation and her 20 years of Yoga, have given rise to her comprehensive interest in the physiological and energetic aspects of health.
Dr. King uses nutrition, botanicals and lifestyle practices to optimize her patients’ health and help them achieve their goals. Along with a special focus on physical medicine, she love doing acupuncture, dry needling, cupping and prolotherapy.
She is committed to addressing the root cause of your concerns - often stemming from issues in the gut or hormone imbalances.
Dr. King’s approach is broad and varied, informed by her extensive travels, volunteer opportunities, experiences with her own health journey and her years of witnessing her patients making life changing decisions to better themselves.
Dr. King realized the visits are very information heavy, and all naturopathic patients leave with handout outlining the recommendations discussed. As well, she believes that people should understand their health, so she works really hard to explain everything in plain language instead of using confusing medical jargon. All of Dr. Kings efforts are put forth in her clinical practice, which aims to bring natural, whole-person healing to her patients.

FINDING BALANCE IN THE BUSYNESS
I love empowering patients to understand their bodies and discover gentle ways to heal themselves. And I love helping busy women find new ways to thrive so they can keep rocking their vibrant, meaningful, and sometimes hectic lives.
I am no stranger to being busy, but staying active keeps me healthy and happy - especially during the months when I’m working in the clinic. Hiking, yoga, paddling, walking the dogs, and parking very far from store entrances (really!) all help to keep me moving.
The right supplements, a balanced diet*, and some movement are the basic building blocks that I need to be at the top of my game, all the time.
*Balance for me means mostly meat and veggies with a gluten free pizza once a month and the occasional box of chocolates... what does it mean for you?
When I'm not in clinic or traipsing around the world, you can find me in my new home, planning my garden, walking my dog, petting the cats or most likely puttering in the kitchen.
